Resident Evil: Village

Welcome gamers! Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my post, and I hope you continue to enjoy the content that is brought through this channel.

Resident Evil. So many memories come to mind when speaking of this franchise. From the very first games I played on PS1, to the latest incarnation(on PS4; I do not have a PS5 yet 😞)...this game series keeps on delivering.

Village bring so much back to fruition with the series. While Biohazard was a great step back into the survival horror element that Resident Evil has always been known for, it still wasn't enough to put things back together that RE5 and 6 broke. I will not go too off key here talking about those broken attempts at a RE game, even though in the eyes of many, they are major staples in the resume.

The re-playability of the game has to be one of the most obvious standouts that this game is a major success. All of the extended game modes and the extra content to complete after playing through the game hooks you right in. And what can I say? The first person touch is a very nice addition carried over from Biohazard.

Overall, I'd say the game is a solid 8.5 out of 10, with the complaint real complaint being the lack of horror/stressful parts like RE is known for.

Until next time, my fellow gamers!

Make sure to hit up your local GameStop to pick up a copy of Resident Evil: Village!

Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 - Here’s a good one that has been in the heads of gamers since E3 back in 2018. The long-awaited and desired sequel to Techland’s huge hit, Dying Light. This was a great gamble for Techland to take when they decided to break away from the development of Dead Island.  Recently in gaming news, Microsoft has been running amok trying to acquire some developers and expand their already swoll utility belt in the gaming industry. Techland’s name was put into rumor that they had possibly been grabbed up by Microsoft, but their community manager was quick to take to Twitter in an attempt to squash any mis-information: I'm getting a lot of dm's about Dying Light acquisition so I'll answer here: There was the same rumour floating around the internet one year ago and the situation didn't change - Techland is an independent studio and it was not acquired by another publisher (: — Uncy (@Uncy8) February 13, 2021 Stressing that enough, Techland is still an independent...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

Well...welllllll.....welllllllll. What do we have here? Oh. CoD, you say? You like a little Warzone in your life? Itching to grind out some of them pointless gun camoes? Get shit on by a bunch of middle schoolers who would rather teabag your corpse than pay attention in science class? Welllll look no further. Here's your one stop-shop to some real talk about this game.  First and foremost, welcome. Whoever stops by here and checks this joint out, you da best. I'm going to try to make a monthly blog post going forward about some game I've started playing, have played, or plan to play and just want to vent about some of the happenings in the world.  Ok, for the record, I've only experienced these games on PS5/4 so please, forgive me if I don't speak fluent PCorean, or XBoxanese.  MWII! Man...people really thought there was gonna be a gold mine here. Nobody seen the polished turd behind the curtain that Infinity Ward shaped up when they decided to release Warzone in ...
