Dying Light 2 - Here’s a good one that has been in the heads of gamers since E3 back in 2018. The long-awaited and desired sequel to Techland’s huge hit, Dying Light. This was a great gamble for Techland to take when they decided to break away from the development of Dead Island.
Recently in gaming news, Microsoft has been running amok trying to acquire some developers and expand their already swoll utility belt in the gaming industry. Techland’s name was put into rumor that they had possibly been grabbed up by Microsoft, but their community manager was quick to take to Twitter in an attempt to squash any mis-information:
Stressing that enough, Techland is still an independent entity, and has also spilled another bit of hope by stating that we should all be able to dive back into the apocalyptical madness this coming December in 2021.I'm getting a lot of dm's about Dying Light acquisition so I'll answer here:

There was the same rumour floating around the internet one year ago and the situation didn't change - Techland is an independent studio and it was not acquired by another publisher (:
If you are anything like me, then 2015 was a huge year with the first chapter of this series rolling out and introducing the world to what a true survival/zombie game is supposed to feel like. Oh, and with a little bit of parkour sprinkled on top. You can find endless user videos by searching YouTube for Dying Light, just to encapsulate your time during these lovely times of quarantine.
Are you excited for the 2nd chapter of the Dying Light to release? Ready to feel that “Good Night, Good Luck” chill again, as you venture out of your safe zone after dark? Bring it on. I’m ready for that smoke again.
Dying Light 2 is in development for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X
