Wow. Been since August since I posted inside of this blog. Can't believe it's been 4 months already since I parted ways with the Honda. What can I say though? Time just flies by as you get older. Day by day. You know, I have said over and over that I'm going to make this into a heavier used diary type of blog. I'm sorry to who actually read this, that I haven't held up my end on it. You wouldn't think that this whole ten minutes it would take a week wouldn't be that much of a hassle. So with that said, I can't really call this a resolution...but more of a retribution. This will become a more utilized tool. Plus, I really don't like to post on Facebook too much, so this is much easier in many instances.
Anyways. Nothing really big has happened locally in Union County(that actually made me take a second look into or at). Had a water main break in Sturgis a little over a week ago, which sucked because I couldn't get my morning Big Swigg without having the fear of having wild stomach by lunch time. Oh! Over this weekend, if you are one of the many people in these parts that have an iPhone, you probably didn't wake up due to a very "Y2K-ish" glitch in Apple's software. Hope you enjoyed your snooze! They say it'll be fixed in the morning, so no late work arrivals to blame on Apple. :-P
So, once again, sorry to be very lacking in information with the county juiciness. I really need to start investing in an Advocate so that I can keep up with more local happenings. To all, Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and an incredible new year! To 2011 and beyond!(Yeah, I just watched Toy Story 3 last night...)
Fav song of the moment(Yeah, it's not the most appropriate thing, but meh. It's just a song.):

A change in your life doesn't always alter the patterns set in place...
Yeah, the title is kind of deep, but it's relevant. I finally parted ways with my 97 Honda Civic. Yeah. The Green Goblin. It's gone. A great buddy of mine purchased it from me, but that's good. He'll take good care of it, and probably see her onto better things than what I could shape her into. So, with it being gone, a new vehicle has come into our lives. And it's much more family oriented. Its a good ol' Dodge Durango. Yeah, it's older, and has a few little ship-shapes it needs fine tuned, but overall, it's a more fitting vehicle for me, and for the family. Good stuff. I was wanting something with 4-wheel drive, and a little more of an aggressive stance and such. Plus, it has 3rd row seat. Can't beat that. Anyways, we'll see how this truck ventures on with me and my family and so forth. Since the last blog post, nothing real truly eventful has come forth. I heard word that the Little Sturgis Rally Committee met and made a sharp decision to shelf the Rally. I know that this decision comes harsh to lots of people in U-Co...but let's be real. It's a good time to see all the bikes and for some of you, the nudity...but it doesn't really bring any profit to Sturgis or the county, other than Wal-Mart and the liquor stores. So anyways. As I said, nothing really hopping as of late. Bakery in Sturgis is looking more and more close to opening as each day passes. And contrary to the last post...Subway has now removed Guacamole from their menu, and it sucks. That was the best thing they could have every brought in to put on a sammich! Until next post, U-CO!

A good way to start a paid week off...
So as of 5 P.M. yesterday, vacation started. And I'm already loving it. Last night, Henshaw Christian Church hosted it's 2nd ever Nerf Wars, where the bunch of us cut out the lights, turned up some crazy techno-ish music, and hunted each other with soft ammo. Very good times. Also, to note. Sam's Pizza in Sturgis is a Friday night favorite around Henshaw and most of southern U-CO apparently. Which isn't a bad thing. It's flippin' delicious. Also, just FYI to who doesn't know yet. Subway(even the one in Morganfield) now has Guacamole! So if you are like me, and order guacamole on the side with any dish you order there, then you will love the Turkey, Bacon & Guacamole sub sandwich from there. It's absolutely amazing. Hopefully the rest of the week off will be just as venturous. Speaking of venturous. Monday holds a rockin' trip to Venture River down in Eddyville, KY, which I am unsure of because I have never made a trip there before, but I'm sure the youngin' will love it. Anyways, until next time, U-CO!

Good times, good times...
So it's been a bit since the last blog post, but really. Let's be honest. Not too many eventful things have happened. Had some crazy weather here in Union County as of late, with all the lovely HEAT, and then BOOM! Rain, and then more heat. Great. Anyways, the Rally has far passed by, and Union County is for the most part quiet again. And! Does everybody and their brother in Union County/surrounding counties need their oil changed and tires rotated all at the same time? :) Had a busy busy week so far down at the dealership. A side note to the guy who was almost naked, weedeating this morning. Please do everybody a favor and buy a shirt and a decent pair of britches. You more than likely made every kid that saw you flinch. So other than that, nothing real spectacular to spout off about. Anybody who actually reads this junk...don't be scared to create a Google account and follow this blog. The more followers that come along, the more I may be motivated to update it more regularly, and come up with more material to keep you amused. Until next time, UCo!

Been a long time coming...
So yeah. I haven't posted in a long time. I honestly don't have a real reason why, but I guess I could use the everyday excuses of not having enough time, focusing on other things, not having anything to post, etc. But that would be all lies. I've had time to come on and post things. I just chose not to, and honestly forgot about having blog sites setup. I have this blog, and my wrestling blog, which I plan to revive both and continue posting to.
So anyways, Union County really hasn't changed in a while. Since my last post, we have had the Union County Fair come through. Honestly, that's about the biggest thing to happen. Local news has had a couple of bad things happen...from a bad crash or two out on the 60 By-pass, and things of that sort.
Still working at C&C, doing the same thing. I still have high hopes that I will become a full mechanic within a few years of tenure. It's frustrating to think of it taking so long, and there being so much to learn, but that's ok. It will be worth is once the time comes, along with the money. Until then, I'll keep on changing oil and rotating tires for ya'll U-Co residents.
So the Little Sturgis Rally is upon us, and will be opening in the very very near future. Being employed in Sturgis allowed me to go browse the grounds of the Rally this year early, and looks to be a good setup out there. It's also a blessing that the committee is allowing early entry for campers, so that 109 won't be horridly backed up with traffic, and will make it easier on us who are just passing through.
I've felt quite accomplished over the last few months though, before and during this heat wave we've been having. I've been able to repair the air conditioner on the Civic, as well as remove all of the oxidation buildup from being lazy and not washing it. Also applied an awesome tedious wax job. So she's shinin' now. :-)
Plus, in the near future, she is probably going to be sporting some new For Sale signs, so if any of ya'll are interested in a great gas saver that runs great, please, contact me.
So anyways, that's basically the best I can catch up with what's happened over the last few months. I plan to post a good blog entry once a week, so keep an eye out!
Until next post...
It's back! My favorite song of the week! Enjoy!
